What are the Rules to Flatter Your Figure in your Portrait Session? Here are 5 Tips & Tricks

Every woman wants to look good.

It matters not that it’s Sunday evening and she is having tea with family or is stepping out to a night on the town or a fancy shin din.

She just wants to look and feel her best.

Looking your best is about the clothes you wear, how you style your hair, your choice of makeup, and your level of confidence in stepping out and being seen.

So, as you decided on what suits you best, and for the occasion you are dressing up.  Here are 5 tips to consider when you are putting yourself together to step out:

1. Determine which part of your body you want to stand out. For example, do you have long legs and want to show them off? Or do you want to draw attention to your tiny waist? Whichever part it is, wear something that will show it off.

2. Adjust the sleeves on your jacket or shirt to just above the wrist if you carry a petite or small frame. Wear the hem of dresses and skirts just above the height of the knees to give the body a longer leaner look.

3. Accentuate your curves with form-fitting skirts and blouses that are loose and tucked in at the waist.

4. Camouflage the tummy with an open cardigan over clothing to make it look flatter and learner.

5. Wear clothes that fit you well but are not so tight that things pop out or bulge through the garments creating puckers here and there.
